Kurt Heid has been working in the meat business for more than 30 years. He began by working in the family meat business, which was recognized as the largest wild game processor in the state of Wisconsin.
Currently he and his family run Heid Wild Game, through which he processes over 400 big game animals each year. Kurt is also a master sausage maker and an authority on food preparation and preservation through curing and smoking. Kurt's passions in life are his faith, family, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors.
